Dogs for Rehoming
We are fostering several Shiba Inus for a dear friend and long-time fellow CKC/AKC Shiba breeder. After the sudden passing of Dr. Lee in the fall, the care of his beloved dogs was left to his daughter, Lin. When she reached out to us, we were more than happy to help. Dr. Lee was not only a respected breeder but also a long-standing member of NIPPO (Nihon Ken Hozonkai), the Japanese Dog Preservation Society. Established in 1928, NIPPO is dedicated to preserving Japan’s native dog breeds, including the Shiba Inu—the smallest of the six recognized Nihon Ken breeds.
In Dr. Lee’s honor, we are now seeking loving, forever homes for his five adult dogs and eight 6-month-old puppies. While prior Shiba Inu experience is a plus, a genuine commitment to learning about this unique and wonderful breed is essential. Please take the time to thoroughly research the breed to ensure they are the right fit for your family.
The dogs are located in Coquitlam, BC and Sultan, WA, and potential adopters must be able to pick up their dog or puppy within 5 days of being approved. We are unable to hold any of the dogs, so please only apply if you are positive you’re ready to open your heart and home to a new family member without delay.
